The distribution of decision authority between the business and the IMT function; three major archetypes of such governance arrangements: centralized, decentralized and federated modes. Governance relies on several capabilities, including decision and decision-support processes, organisational structures, policies, measurements, and resources such as skills, budgets, information and relationships.
