SRCs (Service Request Coordinators), formerly called ITRs (Information
Technology Representatives), are the liaison between Service Alberta and its
partner service providers and ministry end users. They are responsible for
coordinating and submitting Service Requests, and may assist with tracking and
escalating Service Requests to the Service Desk on behalf of Government of
Alberta users. SRCs act as the GOA Ministry specific authorized approver for
such requests. Therefore, any requests received from via SRC are considered
approved by the Ministry and will be provisioned.
