This standard describes the foundational set of metadata elements to be applied to all electronic data/information resources within the Government of Alberta (GoA). These descriptive metadata elements provide context and meaning to assist with use and interpretation while supporting interoperability and extensibility across all business areas and disciplines. This standard is not intended for the application of technical metadata elements.
