This standard establishes an organizational approach for application development to ensure:​

  • consistent implementation of and adherence to industry best practices;
  • simplified application sustainability; and
  • limited exposure of the Government of Alberta’s (GoA) information management technology (IMT) infrastructure and information assets to vulnerabilities.​
